The SWIATOWIT Myszkow
Enamelware Works S.A. is a company with many-years traditions.
A construction of the works began and its completion and putting
the works into operation took place in 1899. Initially the
works dealt with cotton fabrics production. In 1905, when
the owner had been changed, the profile of works activities
changed, too. Then manufacturing of enamel vessels was begun,
and they are offered by the works to the present days.
The name ŚWIATOWIT (i.e. the name of the early-Slav god) emerged
in 1922 for the first time. It is one of the oldest brand
names in Poland.
In the middle of a year 1932 a production of new products
was introduced, among them lacquered ones, galvanised ones,
nickel plated ones, brazen ones, raw sheet ones, bicycle parts,
and other specially ordered products, e.g. for the army.
